Accessibility Information

Arrival and access

  • There is blue badge parking in the NCP which is directly next door to the studio and some on-road blue badge parking available.

  • There is additional, limited, metered on-street parking directly outside the studio. 

  • All of our studios and facilities are on the same floor/level and are accessible from street level via the York Hill entrance.

  • The York Hill entrance has a double fronted loading bay suitable for rear-lift vehicles, and also a ramp entry point.

  • The studios are also accessible via a lift from the front entrance on New England Street if you choose to arrive that way. We are on Level 2. There is a smaller elevator suitable for 4-6 standing, and a larger access/'goods' lift which services our floor and can be used for larger groups of people.

  • If you have specific needs that we could help with by knowing about, please do get in touch.

Food and drink

  • There is a communal kitchen with sink, microwave, kettles, drip-coffee machine, hob, sink and oven. Please let us know in advance if you would like to use the hob or oven.

  • There is an under-counter client fridge in the kitchen. Please label anything you bring.

Studios and spaces

  • Please review the floorplan above and our 3d tour. We welcome pre-shoot visits (please book in advance) to familiarise visitors with the layout of the space.

  • The communal toilets are gender neutral and have an accessible cubical. The cubical is very large, wheelchair-safe with room to turn and has grab rails.

  • Power points are accessible in every studio at various heights.

  • Adjustable height tables are available in every studio space. 

  • All of the chairs provided in the studio are without arms. The seats are suitable for people up to 200kg. 

  • We welcome dogs, companion animals and chaperones but do need to know if they are coming ahead of your shoot.

  • Please note that the building has heavy fire doors. If it is difficult for any visitor to open or hold these doors, please let us know and we can assist. Unfortunately they cannot be pinned open at any time other than load-in.

Medical emergencies

  • There is an AED unit on Level 3, one floor up in the lift. It is by the lift entrance.

  • After calling 999, please let us know immediately if you experience a medical emergency. We can help direct paramedics to the studio.
